How to Order

classicgamesource.com is happy to provide you with 4 different ways of shopping.

  • Ordering by Online Order Form
    To shop with us, simply select" Catalog" from the menu on your left. In our catalog you will find the many departments of the items we carry. If you know what you're looking for, the easiest and fastest way to find something on our site is to click on " Search" also located on the left. To perform a search on classicgamesource.com, be general when typing a name to search for. For example, if you want to find the game Twisted Metal 3 , just type in "Twisted". This would find all of the games that contain Twisted in the title, among them Twisted Metal 3.


    As you navigate through the various departments of our site, and see products that interest you, you can click on the product name for product information and picture. From there, shopping with us using our "Shopping Cart" method is quite simple and self-explanatory.


And safe. You don't have to worry about the safety of your credit card information when shopping at classicgamesource.com. You can rest assured Classic Game Source uses the latest technology to protect your credit card information and does not release it to any outside organization. You can be assured that your personal and account information is secure. We employ the latest 128-bit encryption technology in all parts of our site that require you to provide your personal or account information. We do this to protect you from unauthorized use of the information you are sending to our server. Also, most consumers are unaware that it is statistically safer to use your credit card over the Internet than in traditional stores, where a signed, multiple copy sales draft can find its way into the wrong hands.


Once you complete the order form including shipping address, billing address and payment information, submit your online order by clicking on "Finalize Order" and you will see a confirmation immediately. You will receive one by email also. If for some reason you do not receive the email confirmation message, then please notify us.


Since your credit card is not processed in real time and will not be charged until your order is ready to ship, please allow approx. 24 hrs (depending on the time in which you placed your order, and not including weekends or holidays) to process your order. If your order is complete (meaning no items ordered out of stock), you will be emailed confirmation when your order ships and you can also track it on our site by going to "Order Status". Currently, we are not able to do this with incomplete or revised orders because of software restrictions. We hope to have this resolved soon.

The "billing address " information in your order must coincide exactly with what the credit card company has on file. If the credit card company will not do the address verification, please be advised that some orders could be delayed or cancelled. Our intent is to protect the cardholder and classicgamesource.com. In the unlikely event that there is a problem with your order, you will be notified by either email or phone.


Also, we only charge for items in stock at the time of shipping. If any items that you ordered are not available at that time, they will be cancelled and your order shipped without them. We will try to contact you for substitutions in that case.

If you would like to send your payment via PayPal, first place your order online using our secure server to ensure privacy, and when asked for "Payment Method" on our order form, choose "PayPal". When PayPal notifies us confirmation of your payment, we will then process and ship your order.

Money Orders and Checks
We accept U.S. denominated money orders, U.S. denominated checks drawn on U.S. banks and U.S. denominated cashier checks drawn on U.S. banks by mail. When sending in pre-payments to classicgamesource.com, first place your order online using our secure server to ensure privacy, and when asked for "Payment Method" on our order form, choose "Money Order/Check". You will be emailed a confirmation along with total including shipping cost so that you can send the correct amount to the address below. Please include a copy of this confirmation with your money order or check. All checks must have printed name and address as well as phone number and driver's license written on back. You MUST do this before sending your money order or check in order to hold the merchandise and have the package ready to be shipped upon receipt. Bank Wire Transfer
Wire Transfer payments are subject to a $10 Federal Wire Transfer fee and a $20 bank-to-bank fee. Please contact us either by e-mail to be given instructions on making a purchase by bank wire transfer.

Shipping Charges

Because Classic Game Source has the unusual distinction of being a dual retail /wholesale website, and because of the very large orders we receive, we do not have flat shipping rates or per piece charges and therefore shipping charges are individually determined by chosen shipping method, weight and destination and added to your subtotal after it is boxed and weighed. You are charged only what the actual shipping costs are, we never tack on any additional handling or shipping charges. This works out much better for you, the customer.

If no shipping method is chosen, all orders under 4 pounds shipped to Continental U.S. destinations are shipped via USPS first class mail delivered in 3 to 12 business days unless the order weighs over 4 pounds in which case the order will be shipped UPS Ground and will arrive in 2 to 6 days
. All Florida orders are subject to Florida state sales tax and will be added to your order accordingly most orders to Florida usually arrive within 3 days.


Please make sure you enter your address correctly. We must charge you if the package has to be re-shipped because of an error on your part.

NOTE: We can not guarantee any postal or delivery service will deliver your order in accordance within their guaranteed time.

Non- U.S. Shipping Policies

classicgamesource.com will ship to most countries. We accept PayPal, BidPay, U.S. denominated International Money Orders and Bank Wire Transfer only. We may request additional information before processing a non-US credit card order. We will inform you by email if this is necessary.


When ordering, International customers should choose from our Non U.S. shipping preferences only. You are charged only what the actual shipping costs are, we never tack on any additional handling or shipping charges. If you like, you may request your final shipping rate be emailed you before shipping. Please do this in the "Customer Order Instructions" field on our order form and we will be happy to comply and wait for your OK to ship.


Classic Game Source is not responsible for any duties, taxes or customs charges added to your order in your country. We cannot determine nor calculate what percentage those charges may be. Please check with your local post office for more information.

Return Policy


Classicgamesource.com will accept mail-in returns within 15 days of delivery date. See following guidelines:


U.S. Software

  • Unopened, factory sealed software may be returned for store credit or a refund of the purchase price.

  • Defective items will be exchanged for same item.


Import Software

  • No refunds or exchanges on import software.


Hardware, Accessories, Collectibles, Books, Misc.

  • Unopened, factory sealed items may be returned for store credit or a refund of the purchase price.

  • Defective items will be exchanged for like or same item.

Any Used Product

  • No used product can be refunded, returned or exchanged unless defective.

  • Defective items will be exchanged for same item. In the event the same item is unavailable, customer can choose store credit, refund or exchange for another item.

If there is a problem with your order please contact us before sending merchandise back. Be sure to include your full name, date of order and order number found on order confirmation (not number on packing invoice). We will make every effort to resolve the problem immediately.


In the event you need to return a defective item we will replace it as soon as the item is received by us. All products have to be returned in original box or package with all original manuals, cables, etc. Used product must come back to us with exactly what was included when it was shipped out. In some cases, we may not require return shipping of defective used product. In the event a CD case arrives cracked or damaged, we will be happy to mail you a replacement in your next order.


Unless we are at fault for sending wrong merchandise, we do not reimburse return shipping charges on new items. Please be aware we can not be responsible for lost or damaged return shipments, so you may want to insure it. If you are returning (at our instruction) a used item, we will credit you for the return shipping charge.
